Meet Your Instructor
I'm Becky Stabler and have been teaching for the Red Cross for over 19 years as a Red Cross employee, Authorized Provider for a camp and church, and a Licensed Training Provider. Currently, I am serving as the owner and sole instructor for Hanover CPR,LLC.
I teach because I believe everyone should have a chance to survive traumatic health events. The Lay Response, as well as the Professional Response, can give the patient a chance to survive when administering First Aid, CPR and knowing how to use the Automated External Defibrillator. The faster the aid is provided the better the survival rate.
But even if you never take a class for emergency care, know that recognizing an emergency and calling 911 is the most important thing you can do!
I am available to work with industry and church emergency response teams, youth programs for babysitting and pediatric care, and churches sending folks out on mission trips. Add Bloodbourne Pathogen (BBP) training to your program for a discounted rate. I'm also happy to show up for an hour or so, to do your annual BBP training.
General classes open to the public are available at the Square Commercial Center on the square in Hanover PA. These will be offered monthly to meet the needs of the local area. Other local spots I use frequently are East Berlin Area Community Center and Gettysburg Presbyterian Church.
For those who are trying to find a class here on HanoverCPR.com, or on the RedCross.org, website but can't find one before your certification runs out, give me a call. We can work on a special time just for you to either take a review class or challenge the class outright. Pass the test with an 80% and show the skills and you can become certified without sitting through another entire class.
All certifications except Bloodbourne Pathogens (BBP) are for 2 years. BBP is good for one year. Babysitting Certification has no ending date.
