Basic Life Support (BLS) is the professional level of CPR. It provides training for Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory arrest and the response for choking for all ages. The equipment used includes manikins with feedback devices, a pocket mask and bag-valve-mask. The Red Cross focus is on skills, decision-making, teamwork, and communication. This is a nationally recognized program and protocol. The required test is included in the online material. Students receive an adult and a child pocket mask.
