Blended Learning Style: Half the course is online and half the course is in person. Online will have lecture points, interactive questions and videos.The in-person session will focus on the skills.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is for the professional who has a duty to act. Skills plus a focus on learning how to assess, respiratory and cardiac arrest, choking, opioid overdose and response as a team. Leadership and scenarios are required of all participants.

Learn about leadership, decision-making, age group characteristics, safety on the job, including first aid and choking skills. Use infant manikins to learn infant care skills. Activities and skill sessions are used to reinforce the knowledge gained. Allow 7 hours includes breaks and lunch.

This two day class is designed to meet the Boy Scouts of America requirements as well as the Red Cross criteria. Learn what to do in an emergency when Emergency Medical Services are 1 or more hours away from arriving on the scene. This goes beyond the regular First Aid given for short term care. Must have a current CPR/AED certification to take the course.
